Saint Moses the Black

Struggling with a reoccurring negative act, Saint Moses the Black sought guidance. This reoccurring sin greatly saddened Moses. The advice he received was to keep engaging the Mystery. Instead of a specific prayer, or an act of violence against himself, or an invitation for the right accountability group, he was told to keep engaging the Mystery. The Mystery is bigger than our challenges, yet accessible to our core. The Mystery fills us and subdued our passions. Some moderns find it helpful to practice an ancient daily routine of prayer, or to find one self basking in a traditional liturgy as a way to keep engaging the Mystery.
